Wednesday, 6th June 2007 - Captain Scott’s Birthday Event - Details to be decided. Wednesday, 13th June 2007 - Annual 'Farewell' Dinner - 7.00 for 7.30 Captain Scott Room, Royal Hotel, Cardiff Friday, 20th July 2007 - Sir Vivian Fuchs Charity Evening, - Cardiff Bay Yacht Club Thursday, 11th October 2007 - Gala Evening at de Courcey’s Restaurant, Pentyrch. Friday, 14th December 2007 - Annual Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols - 11 am, St Mary's Church, Whitchurch, Cardiff followed by: Christmas Lunch - 1 pm, United Services Mess, Wharton Street, Cardiff.
The Scott Polar Research Institute The SPRI, which is part of Cambridge University, wishes to extend its ‘Friends of SPRI’ membership. There are two main annual functions held by the Friends, bringing together many Polar enthusiasts. These are the Summer Luncheon and the Autumn Buffet.
